"Cooking with Fiction?" Tony Canzoneri's Latest Release, Redneck Eats, is a Companion Cook Book to the Novel Cold Trail
Marietta, OH (PRWEB) October 30, 2006 -- Tony Canzoneri announces the release of Redneck Eats. A cook book of his favorite recipes compiled from years of southern cooking. The book is unique in that most of the recipes are offered by the fictional characters of Cold Trail, Canzoneri's first novel in the Buck Jackson mystery series.
Redneck Eats offers not only the promise of great food but insight into the traits and personalities of the characters that readers have come to know and love. It even introduces some new characters from the Cold Trail sequel Eat A Peach, due for release next year. Redneck Eats is available through Lulu Press (www.lulu.com), the world's fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.
Redneck Eats, contains over thirty recipes that range from basic southern staples to New Orleans signature dishes, with the added bonus of hilarious commentary and the quirky offerings from the cast of Cold Trail. When asked how he came up with the idea, Tony Canzoneri said, "Some of my readers were asking me for Albert's fried catfish recipe from the novel. Albert is a fictional character but the recipe was real. So in writing it, I decided that all of the characters of Cold Trail deserved to have their own recipes included. And so the fun began."
