Your Country Music Song Gets A Chance To Make Money and Gain Exposure
Ajax, ON, Canada (Billboard Publicity Wire) April 21, 2008 -- In a market that is very tough to make money anywhere in the world, country music singers, songwriters, musicians, and bands now have a chance to make some good money to help further their career and gain increased exposure.
"Your Country Music Song Contest" is a contest where songs are submitted by those who write and perform them, and then voted on by country music fans. The first song to achieve 10,000 votes will win $10,000 US. All songs submitted also have a chance to receive cash prizes when they reach certain levels of votes. There is no charge for songs to be entered into the contest. The contest is open to almost any country music song in the world. The contest will end when the first song reaches 10,000 votes.
Voting costs $1 US and each vote will receive an MP3 of the song they voted for, in appreciation for voting.
There are a number of benefits for those who enter the contest. First of all, their song could win them some money. Secondly, with each artist/song getting a web page that includes a picture, biography, the song, and links to the entries e-mail address and web site, the chances of increased exposure for those entering is great. Thirdly, they have a chance to build their fan base, which can really advance ones musical career.
"Your Country Music Song Contest" is a joint project between Robert MacArthur and Associates and The NiagaraAtlantic Entertainment Group. Both are based out of the Durham Region in Ontario, Canada, with NiagaraAtlantic has offices in the United States. Project organizers intend to have many of these types of contests for different music genres and varying prize amounts in the future.
Anyone wishing to learn more about the contest, how to enter, and how to vote, should visit the contest web site at www.yourcountrymusicsongcontest.com.
