Country Music Sensation LongShot Girl Shines On With New Album Release

DALLAS (PRWeb) March 15, 2007 -- Country music singer/songwriter Julie Ingram is currently recording her new album at CURB Studio & EMI Studio in Nashville. The LongShot recording artist has teamed up with the veteran writing production team of Chris Dodson and Jeff Tweel, whose credits include Merle Haggard, Billy Ray Cyrus, Keith Whitley, LeAnn Rimes, BJ Thomas and Sam & Dave.

Ingram's very special breakthrough album entitled Keep On Believin' will include six great songs by some of Nashville's top writers, three songs produced by acclaimed number-one hit maker Ted Hewitt (of Rodney Atkins). Believin' will also include seven powerful songs co-written by Ingram and Dodson.

Musically and creatively inspiring, the album chronicles one woman's struggle against all odds to have a career as a mainstream singer/songwriter in country music. Julie Ingram has never wavered on her mission to be a successful country singer and songwriter.

The Artist -- Julie Ingram:
Julie is an exceptionally beautiful and talented singer/songwriter, entertainer and recording artist. A Kansas native and runner up for the title of Miss Kansas, she now lives in Dallas, Texas. She was also Ms. Arlington and first runner up for Ms. World. Her resume as a top model and actress in Dallas and Los Angeles is very impressive including several hundred principal roles including the TV series Dallas and national commercials for Kraft Foods, Faberge, State Farm, Remy Martin, Marathon Oil and Regis Hair in "Cosmopolitan Magazine." As an entertainer, Julie has been the Mistress of Ceremonies for many major events and shows. She is a much in demand vocalist recently performing the Star Spangled Banner at the Lonestar Horse Track, Mesquite Championship Rodeo, and several nationally televised Olympic events. Concerts include major venues in Dallas, plus the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame with Kris Kristofferson (& Willie), Lefty Frizzell and Johnny Bush.

Veteran air talent and Marconi Award Winner, Ron Chapman, congratulated Julie on her new upcoming release saying, "I think your new 'LongShot Girl Part 2' single is a sensational hit. I have been listening to it in the car and it gets better each time. Congratulations!"

The first single, "LongShot Girl Part 2," will release to radio on July 23, 2007, and the new album ships to retail September 1, 2007. More details about Julie Ingram and her new country music album are available at: www.julieingram.com
